NC Radio: Casey Carter New PD For Country WTQR

iHeartMedia Greensboro has announced that Casey Carter has been named Program Director for Country WTQR Q104.1 FM in Greensboro- Winston Salem-High Point, effective April 17, 2017.

Carter will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee on-air, digital and music programming, as well as, booking artist appearances and interviews for the radio station brand and their local events.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to join a legendary station like Q104.1,” said Carter. “I look forward to working with the fantastic staff, and am happy to serve the Virginia-Carolina region.”

Tara Granahan NewsTalk WPRO 630 AM & 99.7 FM has announced that Tara Granahan has been named the permanent 9am-12noon host on the Providence heritage talk station. Tara is an award- winning journalist with a radio and television career that spans over 25 years.  She has reported on politics, local news, and entertainment, and has  interviewed President Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Regis Philbin, and many others.  Tara was also nominated for 5 Emmy Awards for her investigating reporting for the “You Paid For It” series on WLNE-TV (ABC-6) in Providence.
